Smoke meat for six to eight hour at 200 to 300°F. A brisket will require a slightly higher temperature, while a 20-lb pork suckling pig will only need to cook for four hours. How to make a perfect Omelette

Omelets is one of my favourite breakfast foods. How do you make them perfect? There are many recipes and methods I tried, but none worked. So today, I want to share some tips and tricks with you so you can make your own delicious and fluffy omelets every morning.

We should first know that eggs are very temperamental ingredients when making omelets. Eggs must be purchased fresh, preferably organic, and kept chilled until ready for cooking. They must be kept cool, otherwise the whites will not form properly and the yolks may become runny. This will make your omelets appear strangely colored. It is best to use room-temperature eggs if you are going to cook them right away.

Another tip is to separate your egg before adding it into the pan. Because this could cause your omelet to become curdled, you don't want any yolk to be mixed with any white.

You could end up burning the bottom half of the egg if the egg is added directly to the heat source. Instead, place the egg in the microwave for 10 second before you put it in the skillet. The heat from the microwave cooks the egg just enough without overcooking it.

Next, let’s talk about mixing the egg. Mixing eggs together is important. You need to beat them well. Turn the bowl upside down and grab the whisk to do this. Next, shake the bowl vigorously. This way, the air inside the bowl gets whipped around and mixes the egg thoroughly.

Now comes the fun part - pouring the milk into the mixture. First, pour half of the milk into the beaten eggs and then fold the eggs gently into the remaining milk. If you still see streaks of eggs, don't worry. These streaks will disappear once the omelet has been turned over.

After folding the eggs fold the pan onto medium heat. When the oil starts to hot, wait for the pan to cook. When the oil is hot enough, add 1/4 cup butter to the pan. Stir it around until the butter covers the entire pan. Now carefully crack open the lid of the pan and sprinkle salt into the pan. Salt will prevent the omelet sticking to the pan.

Once the omelet has formed completely, cover the pan and let it set for a few minutes. Use a spatula to flip the omelet or turn the pan upside-down. Cook the other half for another minute. Take the omelet out of the pan and immediately serve.

This recipe works best with whole milk, but skimmed milk also works.
